How to find a journal and journal article

If you have bibliographic information and need to find the full-text document:

    You may have found bibliographic information shown in a format similar to the following example:

    Author,〈Title〉,《Journal》,Issue,Date,Page(s)。

    You can search the NCHU library Discovery System to query by journal title (e.g., nature) to find the print or digital material you need.
1. A printed journal has the current issue shelf number or back issue call number. Please go to the periodical shelf on the 2nd floor (Western periodicals) or 3rd floor (Chinese periodicals) of the library and copy or scan the full text.
2. An electronic journal has resource platform link(s) and you can access to obtain full-text online.

 

 

 

Not Find Journal Articles you need In Library

If the university does not have the journal you need:

   1. Search the “Union List of Serials”.

   2. Apply for a "interlibrary card" and go to partner libraries to make copies in person.

   3. Use Intelibrary Loan paid service, including Nationwide Document Delivery Service (NDDS) and Rapid ILL, to place a request for the material(s) you need. For more detailed contents, please see the Interlibrary Loan page.
