EndNote is a reference management tool that allows users to import or create bibliographies after querying online databases and help effectively manage collected references. EndNote stores, manages, and queries personal references in your “Library” and save digital full-texts in its software. When writing, the Cite While You Write feature generates citation formats.
Before download and installation, please close Word and email applications.
To download EndNote, please go to the NCHU Library homepage → Collections → Database Search → search “EndNote” → click the link in "View Online" section → choose the version on the webpage.
After the download, make sure to unzip the file before installation. If you directly double-click the file to install, the system will prompt you to enter the installation key, which would be an error. If this occurs, please uninstall the EndNote application, then unzip, and reinstall it again. After a successful installation, the EndNote toolbar will be displayed at the top of your Word software to click on for the desktop and online version. Please refer to the User Manual below for further instructions on installation and usage.
